Česká asociace na Aljášce pořádá dvanáctý Picnic & Potluck

The 12th Annual Czech-Alaska Society Picnic & Potluck is also a small tribute to the celebrations of Czech and Slovak 100 years of Independence.

2018 marks the centennial of formal Czech-US relationships and friendships. How better to celebrate this milestone than embracing the heritage, language, culture and customs during our gathering of all Czech-at-hearts ?

Let's celebrate by creating everyone's favorite Czech dishes. Let's showcase Alaskan specialties as well. Our potluck table is legendary.

This year we have invited a couple of significant guests:

The Czech Republic ambassador to the United States Mr. Hynek Kmoníček and

Consul General from Los Angeles Mr. Pavol Šepelák.

 
What a unique opportunity to share a meal and stories in such casual surroundings.

 
Of course, all the usual and traditional things are planned for - fire, sausage station, goulash, keg of King Street Brewery Pilsner, guitar music, games and indoor space should the weather not cooperate.

               Bring your friends and family. 
               Take along that harmonica, deck of cards or whatever you want to enjoy and share.

               We always have room to present talent and skills. 
               All and any potluck dishes are appreciated.
